Lattice 3D is an OpenGL screen saver that draws 3D latticework on your desktop when your computer is idle. It can draw several types of lattice and allows you to change all its parameters like lattice complexity, nodes and links type (sphere, cube, cone...), rendering quality and more. Also this screen saver can save finally drawn image as desktop wallpaper.

The latest version released is 1.1 (July 3, 2001)

System Requirements

Lattice 3D Screen Saver is an OpenGL application and requires OpenGL library to be installed on your computer (opengl.dll file in your Windows system directory). If you don't have opengl.dll installed then it won't run, OpenGL should already be installed on Windows95b/98/Me/NT/2000/XP, but if you don't have it then get it here: http://www.opengl.org/users/downloads/index.html

Hardware 3D acceleration is NOT required but recommended in order to improve performance.

Installation and Uninstallation

Unzip "Lattice 3D.scr" file into your Windows directory. You can also install it by unzipping it into a temporary directory, then right click on the .scr file and select install.

To activate it: right click on your desktop background and select properties, then select the screen savers tab, then select "Lattice 3D" in the Screen Saver selection box.

When uninstalling just remove "Lattice 3D.scr" file from your Windows directory.

Lattice 3D Screen Saver is shareware ($9.95) Lattice 3D Screen Saver is try-before-you-buy-software (shareware) and you can evaluate it for free. If you have enjoyed using this screen saver and wish to keep using it and remove all limitations, you need to register it.
